A whole week of school lunches!

a week of easy lunch ideas for kids, from whatlisacooks.com

Looking for kids lunch ideas?

I've got another whole week of school lunches to share with you!

This week has some fun variety of things that you can do to keep the lunches new and fresh. We've got fruits and veggies, snacks, a sandwich, and even a field trip lunch.

Now, for the lunches... a week of kids lunch ideas.

Lunch #1: Taco Tuesday Leftovers

They all have chips, sugar snap peas, and a quarter of an apple. In the small container one has fish sticks (my cheat for easy fish tacos!), one has chicken, one has refried beans, and one has refried beans with chicken and cheese.

Lunch #2: A muffin lunch!

The two in the lunch container have two muffins, cheese, cheerios, dried fruit and nuts, and a few yogurt covered cookies.

The other two were off on a field trip, so they got everything in disposable packages. They also have a muffin, cheese, and dried fruit. In addition to that they also got applesauce, seaweed snacks, and a juice. For field trips I like to pack things that are very portable and easy to eat.

Lunch #3: Simple Sandwiches

I don't think it takes much to make a sandwich look like a nice meal. These are half sandwiches, each child has something a little different. They have cheese, strawberries, pirate's booty, and a couple of fig cookies.

Lunch #4: A box of little nibbles.

For those with smaller appetites, a box with lots of little nibbles can be a lot of fun. Here she has crackers, broccoli, two cheeses, banana chips, cheerios, turkey, applesauce, and yogurt.

Lunch #5: Fruit & cheese box

Last but not least - this was one of my favorite lunches. It's just so bright and fresh. This is my kind of meal! They have grapes, cherries, strawberries, and half a plum. For a veggie they have sugar snap peas. Cheese and crackers go perfectly with fruit. And a few whole wheat fig cookies to round it out.
