Make your own cheese sandwich

This is possibly the easiest lunch you can make - and one of the kids' favorite. 

This is what I call a make-your-own sandwich box. Kids love the idea of making something themselves. So this is a win-win - it's easier to pack, and they love it. I give them the ingredients - for this child it's a cheese and butter sandwich. She has a slice of bread cut in squares, a little pot of butter, and slices of cheese. I gave her a flat spoon to use to spread the butter, and I even gave her little picks to put in her finished sandwiches. On the side she has carrots, and two of my little homemade butter cookies.
